It was all excitement as hundreds of exhibitors attended the Harvest Money Expo 2025 exhibitors’ briefing at Mandela National Stadium in Kampala on Thursday, February 04.

As the biggest annual agriculture expo returned to its birth venue – Namboole, the organisers from the Vision Group shared the three-day plan that will ensure a smooth and successful event.

Gervas Ndyanabo, the deputy executive director of the Vision Group, thanked everyone for partnering with the company.

“We started as a follow-up to our editorials and a call from our audiences that was urging us to take agriculture to the next level. We all know that Vision Group is the largest media group, and as such, we are committed to actively participating in the sector that significantly impacts the majority of Ugandans,” he said.

He stressed that based on the experience of the eight expos, Vision Group has considered all the feedback, so much so that each year’s expo is better than the preceding ones. He encouraged the exhibitors to share their feedback and expo experiences for improvements and innovations in the coming years.

Ndyanabo thanked sponsors, including the Netherlands embassy, ENGSOL, Bella Wine, Tunga Nutrition, ABi, Uganda Development Cooperation, and Pepsi, who have made it possible for the expo to happen.

Ndyanabo assured the public that everything is planned, calling on them to come in large numbers to learn about the new trends that will change the way they manage their farms.

Hope Nuwagaba, the head of sales, also thanked the exhibitors for believing and moving with the Vision Group, especially those who have been a part of the expo for all these years.

“We thank you for trusting us with your money so that we can drive your business on the market. We are now back to our home in Namboole, and we pray for God’s provision and good health so that we can have a good and productive three days of the expo,” she said.

She advised exhibitors to use Vision Group’s platforms to continue engaging with their audiences even after the Expo.

She gives examples of the pullouts and master classes organised in the different parts of the country, which will bring them closer to their customers.

Lorraine Tukahirwa, the head of marketing and communication at the Vision Group, pointed out that Vision group is known as a multimedia company in Uganda.

“We have successfully promoted this event, generating significant excitement among the public and ensuring a high attendance rate. Together, we let people know what we are to offer during the expo. Rest assured that we have prepared well, and come Friday, when the gates are open for the public, it will be a flood of showgoers,” she says.

She adds this is going to be a huge opportunity for networking.

She advised them to write down their objectives since visitors come from different walks of life, but seeking to improve their commercial agriculture.

The theme for this year is, Agriculture as a Business, Value Addition, and Cooperatives. Therefore, be prepared to network and demonstrate your expertise.

Every year the expo is better than previous ones and this is because of the feedback we get from you as the exhibitors and also clients, which helps us as the organisers to improve and serve you better,” she said.

Entrance fee to the expo is sh10,000 and 20,000 with training, per day.
