The amount of eggs or birds produced will determine your marketing needs. If you have over 1,000 layers or broilers you need a larger market than somebody with less. You can use the media to advertise, for example in the Harvest Money Classified section in the New Vision every Friday, the sale of your eggs and birds, visit key egg selling centres in every major city/town like Kafumbe Mukasa Road too in Kampala city and link up with bulk buyers.
For broilers, look out for buyers who roast chicken. These are almost in every major town or highway across the country.
The most important trick is; be present when the chicken or products are being sold off to avoid being fleeced!
