Eggs Will Make Your Rice Tastier

Egg-fried rice is a simple Indian dish to delight your family. You can make egg-fried rice as a main dish or as a side dish. Below are the portions of ingredients needed and how to prepare the dish

3 cups cooked rice
4 well beaten eggs
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup boiled peas
1/4 cup finely chopped, boiled french beans
1/4 cup chopped boiled
1 inch grounded ginger
4 grounded garlic flakes
3 chopped green chillies
1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons oil
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

Heat oil in a pan
Add onion and fry till golden brown
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, simmer for a minute

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and simmer for two minute
Add the beaten eggs and stir continuously for about five minutes until well set

Add chopped and boiled vegetables and stir for two minutes
Add salt and garam masala
Add cooked rice and mix it well
Add soy sauce and stir once again
Cover the pan and let it cook for five minutes
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
